We’re proud to be KwaZulu-Natal’s biggest and most loved rescue animal farm — and it’s all thanks to the incredible animals who call our farm home. From the moment you step through our gates, you’ll feel the love, care, and dedication that goes into everything we do. More than 80% of our animals have been rescued from unfortunate circumstances, and each one now lives safely and peacefully, knowing they are cherished.

When we first bought the farm over 20 years ago, it was a run-down piece of land with a lot of potential and even more heart. Through years of hard work, passion, and purpose, we’ve transformed it into one of South Africa’s top rescue farm experiences, having saved and rehomed more than 14,000 animals along the way. Watching an animal learn to trust again — to feel safe, loved, and valued — is at the core of what makes Flag so special.

But Flag is more than just a farm. It’s a space where families connect, kids explore, and everyone gets to experience the magic of farm life up close. We offer a real hands-on experience, where visitors can walk freely among our friendly animals, birds, and reptiles — cuddle a bunny, feed a goat, or meet a curious hedgehog!
